Cabbage tree lodge is an old sandstone farm house dating back the late 1800's, which offers you the charm of yesterday.

the lodge has five en-suite bedrooms which are very comfortable and tastefully furnished.in addition to the comfortable accommodation, we serve delicious traditional south African dishes along with fine south African wines thus ensuring a wonderful and unforgettable experience in a very beautiful area of southern Africa.

Location

Situated in the Koranna Mountains, in the Free State Province of South Africa, lies our unspoiled hunting concession. With stunning views of the Koranna Mountain range. Spectacular night skies and stunning sunsets,one can truly experience unspoilt Africa. Our area is situated in the centre of South Africa, approximately 5000 feet above sea level and is Malaria free. Our area forms part of the 20000 acre Koranna Mountain Conservancy.

  The lodge

Cabbage Tree Lodge has five en-suit bed rooms which are very comfortable and tastefully decorated.

The Lodge has a lovely dinning room, Lounge, and a porch which is ideal for that sundowner!

We also have an outside walled fire pit and braii area.

When Deon and Tersa first took over the lodge. it was in a a very dilapidated state.

With a lot of hard work and dedication, Deon and Tersa have beautifully restored Cabbage tree lodge to make a really lovely place to stay in a very stunning part of South Africa.
